The Wheat Initiative is developing an open-access web portal that aims at providing information about wheat researchers and projects globally: who is doing what, where and with whom. This portal will facilitate access to information about researchers and research projects amongst the global public-private wheat community. This web portal will be a useful tool for researchers to search partners to develop collaborations, for students and post-docs to identify labs in which they would like to work, and by policy makers/funding agencies to better understand the research priorities in different countries.

To develop this portal, the Wheat Initiative has chosen the VIVO research-focused discovery tool already used by a number of Universities and research organisations.

WheatVIVO is under construction.
